Prosecutor Brammertz accepts Peace Award from Safet Oručević, director of the Centre for peace and multiethnic cooperation in Mostar

On 23 July 2016, Prosecutor Serge Brammertz and the ICTY Office of the Prosecutor were recognized with the 2016 Mostar Peace Connection award by the Center for Peace and Multi-ethnic Cooperation Mostar.

Speaking yesterday at a high-level UNESCO conference, ICTY Registrar Mr. John Hocking highlighted the role of the ICTY in cementing the legal foundation for accountability for the destruction of cultural heritage.
