The International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia to give
monthly press briefings in Brussels at the United Nations information centre.

As of February 2000, the International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia (ICTY) will be a regular guest at the United Nations Information Centre in Brussels for monthly press briefings.

The monthly press briefing will be held the last Thursday of every month. The first monthly briefing will take place on Thursday 24 February 2000 at 10.30 a.m.

Jim Landale, Spokesman for the Registry and Chambers, and Paul Risley, Spokesman for the Office of the Prosecutor, will update the media representatives on the latest developments in The Hague, seat of the ICTY. They will look back at what happened in the past weeks and will look forward at the weeks ahead. Both will be available for questions.

You are cordially invited to attend the ICTY briefing at the UN Information Centre, Multimedia Unit, 14 rue Montoyer (ground floor), 1000 Brussels.
