I, Claude Jorda, President of the International Criminal Tribunal for the Prosecution of Persons Responsible for Serious Violations of International Humanitarian Law Committed in the Territory of the Former Yugoslavia since 1991 (hereinafter "the Tribunal"),

HAVING CONSULTED the Judges of the Tribunal,

PURSUANT to Article 14(3) of the Statute of the Tribunal and Rule 62 of the Rules of Procedure and Evidence (hereinafter "the Rules"),

NOTING the transfer of the accused Dragan Obrenovic (hereinafter "the Accused") to the seat of the Tribunal on 15 April 2001,

FOR THE FOREGOING REASONS,

DECIDE to assign the case The Prosecutor v. Dragan Obrenovic (case no. IT-01-43-I) to Trial Chamber II composed of:

Judge David Hunt (Presiding)

Judge Florence Mumba

Judge Liu Daqun,

DECIDE also that, pursuant to Rule 62 of the Rules, the initial appearance of the Accused shall be held without delay before Trial Chamber II or a Judge thereof.
