HAVING CONSIDERED the request of the Croatian Association of Criminal Science and Practice filed on 4 April 1997 for leave to appear as amicus curiae in this matter,

NOTING that no objection was made by the parties to the acceptance of the Croatian Association of Criminal Science and Practice as amicus curiae,

NOTING that the written brief of the Croatian Association of Criminal Science and Practice was submitted on 11 April 1997, pursuant to the Order of the Trial Chamber dated 8 April 1997,

NOTING FURTHER that Mr. Ljubanovic, for the Croatian Association of Criminal Science and Practice, is willing to attend the hearing scheduled for Wednesday 16 April 1997,

PURSUANT TO RULE 74

HEREBY

(1) GRANTS LEAVE to the Croatian Association of Criminal Science and Practice to appear as amicus curiae;

(2) ACCEPTS the submission of the written brief; and

(3) INVITES Mr. Ljubanovic, for the Croatian Association of Criminal Science and Practice, to attend the hearing scheduled for Wednesday 16 April 1997 in order to respond to questions from Judges of the Trial Chamber and to provide any further assistance the Trial Chamber may require.
