I, THEODOR MERON, President of the International Tribunal for the Prosecution of Persons Responsible for Serious Violations of International Humanitarian Law Committed in the Territory of the Former Yugoslavia Since 1991 ("Tribunal"),

NOTING the "Prosecution’s Appeal from Trial Chamber’s Decision on Motion for Acquittal Pursuant to Rule 98 bis," filed by the Prosecutor on 10 December 2003;

CONSIDERING the composition of the Appeals Chamber of the Tribunal as set out in Document IT/222, dated 17 November 2003;

CONSIDERING Articles 12(3) and 14(3) of the Statute of the Tribunal and Rule 27(C) of the Rules of Procedure and Evidence of the International Tribunal;

NOTING Article 14(2) of the Statute of the Tribunal, which provides that the President of the Tribunal is ex officio the Presiding Judge of the Appeals Chamber;

HEREBY TEMPORARILY ASSIGN Judge Amin El Mahdi to the Appeals Chamber, pursuant to Rule 27(C), for the purpose of hearing Case No. IT-99-36-AR73.10, The Prosecutor v. Radoslav Brđanin; and

ORDER that in Case No. IT-99-36-AR73.10, The Prosecutor v. Radoslav Brđanin, the Appeals Chamber shall be composed, with immediate effect, as follows:
