I, David Anthony HUNT, Judge of the International Criminal Tribunal for the Prosecution of Persons Responsible for Serious Violations of International Humanitarian Law Committed in the Territory of the Former Yugoslavia since 1991 ("International Tribunal");

NOTING the Order on the Review of the Amended Indictment Pursuant to Article 19 of the Statute, issued on 17 December 1999, in which Judge Rodrigues confirmed all of the counts of an amended indictment submitted to him by the Office of the Prosecutor ("Prosecution") on 19 November 1999;

NOTING the Amended Indictment filed by the Prosecution on 20 December 1999;

NOTING that Radoslav Brdanin and Momir Talic (“the Accused”) pleaded not guilty to Count 1 of the original indictment, being a charge of persecutions as a crime against humanity under Article 5(h) of the Statute of the International Tribunal ("the Statute"), at their initial appearances on 12 July 1999 and 31 August 1999 respectively;

NOTING that in the Amended Indictment 11 new counts have been added against the Accused, under Articles 4 (3)(a), 4(3)(e), 5(b), 2(a), 5(f), 2(b), 5(d), 5(i), 3(b) and 3(d) of the Statute;

NOTING that the Accused have not yet pleaded to the new counts in the Amended Indictment;

NOTING the Tribunal recess and the resulting temporary absence of courtroom facilities;

PURSUANT TO Rule 50(B) of the Rules of Procedure and Evidence,

HEREBY ORDER that the Accused appear before the Pre-Trial Judge on Tuesday, 11 January 2000 at 10.30 am to plead to the new counts.
