I, LIU DAQUN, Judge of the International Tribunal for the Prosecution of Persons Responsible for Serious Violations of International Humanitarian Law Committed in the Territory of the Former Yugoslavia since 1991 ("the International Tribunal"):

NOTING the indictment against Miroslav Deronjic issued on 3 July 2002 and confirmed by Judge Patrick Robinson in respect of each and every count on 4 July 2002;

NOTING the transfer of Miroslav Deronjic to the International Tribunal on 8 July 2002;

PURSUANT TO RULES 54 AND 64 of the Rule of Procedure and Evidence of the Tribunal;

HEREBY ORDER the detention of Miroslav Deronjic and enjoin the Commanding Officer of the United Nations Detention Unit in The Hague to detain the accused until further order.
