6 JUDGE ROBINSON: Will the registrar call the

8 THE INTERPRETER: Microphone, Your Honour.

9 THE REGISTRAR: Case number IT-95-17/1-A, the

10 Prosecutor versus Anto Furundzija.

11 JUDGE ROBINSON: Can we have the

12 appearances.

13 MR. YAPA: May it please Your Honour.

14 Upawansa Yapa. I appear for the Prosecution in this

15 Status Conference. Mr. George Huber is the case

16 manager.

17 JUDGE ROBINSON: Thank you. I should say

18 that the Chamber has received a request from Defence

19 counsel, Mr. Misetic, to participate in this hearing by

20 way of telephonic link.

21 MR. MISETIC: That is correct, Your Honour.

22 JUDGE ROBINSON: I'd first like to ask

23 Mr. Misetic if he can hear the proceedings.

24 MR. MISETIC: Yes, I can, Your Honour.

25 JUDGE ROBINSON: And I ask the appellant

1 whether he is in agreement with this procedure. Are

2 you in agreement with this procedure?

3 THE APPELLANT FURUNDZIJA: [Interpretation]

4 Yes, Your Honour.

5 JUDGE ROBINSON: Thank you.

6 And may I ask the Office of the Prosecutor

7 whether it has any objection to the procedure.

8 MR. YAPA: I do not have any objections.

9 JUDGE ROBINSON: Thank you. The Chamber

10 therefore grants the request.

11 This is a Status Conference convened pursuant

12 to Rule 65 bis for the purpose of affording the

13 appellant an opportunity to raise questions with regard

14 to the status of his appeal and the conditions of his

15 detention, and also to provide him with information

16 concerning the status of the case.

17 May I ask the appellant whether he has any

18 particular matters to raise.

19 THE APPELLANT FURUNDZIJA: [Interpretation]

20 Your Honour, I personally don't have anything to raise,

21 any issue.

22 JUDGE ROBINSON: Thank you.

23 By way of information, I'd like to say that

24 the Chamber intends to deliver judgement in this matter

25 very soon.
