I, Judge Almiro Rodrigues, acting as pre-trial Judge in this case before Trial Chamber I of the International Tribunal for the Prosecution of Persons Responsible for Serious Violations of International Humanitarian Law Committed in the Territory of the Former Yugoslavia since 1991 (the "Trial Chamber");
NOTING that during the Status Conference on 15 March 2001, the Parties agreed to continue their negotiations on the pre-trial preparation of the case and on the protocol for the proposed travel to Sarajevo (the "travel protocol"), further to the Prosecution’s "Motion for the Trial Chamber to Travel to Sarajevo" of 14 July 2000;
HAVING BEEN INFORMED that no progress was achieved at the meeting of the Parties with the Senior Legal Officer of the Trial Chamber and that Counsel for the Defence is currently present in The Hague;
SCHEDULES a Status Conference on Wednesday 2 May 2001 at 10:00, in order to discuss the travel protocol, and the pre-trial preparation of the case and in particular the following issues under Rule 65 ter (E) of the Rules of Procedure and Evidence (the "Rules"):
SCHEDULES further Status Conferences in May and June 2001, at dates to be announced at a later stage, during which the following subjects in regard to the pre-trial preparation of the case will be discussed respectively:
REITERATES that the pre-trial preparation of the case should be completed by July 2001.
