 4                           [The witness entered court]

 5                           --- Upon commencing at 9.04 a.m.

6             JUDGE ORIE:  Good morning to everyone.

7             Madam Registrar, would you please call the case.

8             THE REGISTRAR:  Good morning, Your Honours.  Good morning,

9     everyone.  This is case number IT-06-90-T, the Prosecutor versus Ante

10     Gotovina et al.

11             JUDGE ORIE:  Mr. Misetic, it will be you who is cross-examining

12     the witness?

13             MR. MISETIC:  Yes, Your Honour.

14             JUDGE ORIE:  Witness P-086, you will now be cross-examined by

15     Mr. Misetic, who is counsel for Mr. Gotovina.

16             MR. MISETIC:  Thank you, Your Honour.  Just as a preliminary

17     matter, I wanted to alert the Trial Chamber that I intend -- I have a lot

18     of material to cover, but I intend to finish certainly by the first

19     break, and hopefully earlier.  In discussions after we finished

20     yesterday, it is my understanding that the Prosecution will need at least

21     an hour and a half of re-direct.  So I will try to shorten my

22     cross-examination, and I may be doing things to speed up by tendering

23     several documents at once and then asking the witness a few questions

24     about a group of documents, so that we can proceed more quickly, Your

25     Honour.

 1             JUDGE ORIE:  Yes.

2             Finally, Mr. Margetts, there was an issue about one document of

3     which the authenticity was challenged by the Markac Defence, the unsigned

4     and unnumbered document.  If you would have any further details about

5     that document and whether you would be able to provide another copy or

 6     whether it exists.

7             MR. MARGETTS:  Yes, Your Honour.  In terms of another copy with

8     details on it, I'm not aware that we have that, but we do have a witness

9     that's going to come and talk about the circumstances in which that

10     document was created.

11             JUDGE ORIE:  Then we'll wait for that.

12             Witness 86, may I remind you that you are still bound by the

13     solemn declaration you gave at the beginning of your testimony.

14             Then we turn into private session.
