THIS TRIAL CHAMBER of the International Tribunal for the Prosecution of Persons Responsible for Serious Violations of International Humanitarian Law Committed in the Territory of the Former Yugoslavia since 1991;

BEING SEIZED of the "Prosecutor’s Motion for Variation of Time Limit" filed on 17 June 1999, whereby the prosecution seeks a variation of the time limit for filing an amended indictment in order to enable it to apply to the confirming Judge for leave to amend the indictment and for confirmation of the indictment;

NOTING the "Decision on the Prosecutor’s Response to Decision of 24 February 1999" of 20 May 1999;

NOTING the Status Conference of 11 June 1999;

HEREBY ORDERS that:

1. Leave is granted to the prosecution to file an amended indictment within seven days of the motion for leave to amend the indictment and for confirmation of the amended indictment being disposed of by the confirming Judge.

2. Leave is granted to the accused, within thirty days of the filing of an amended indictment in a language which he understands, to file a preliminary Motion pursuant to Rule 72 in relation to that amended indictment if he be so advised.
