I, LIU DAQUN, Judge of the International Tribunal for the Prosecution of Persons Responsible for Serious Violations of International Humanitarian Law Committed in the Territory of the Former Yugoslavia since 1991 ("International Tribunal"),

HAVING BEEN DESIGNATED as duty Judge by the President of the International Tribunal pursuant to Rule 28 of the Rules of Procedure and Evidence of the International Tribunal ("Rules") for the period 10 to 17 August 2001,

NOTING the Amended Indictment against Vidoje Blagojevic confirmed on 26 October 1999 by Judge Florence Mumba,

NOTING the transfer of the Accused to the seat of the International Tribunal on 10 August 2001,

PURSUANT to Rule 28 and Rule 64 of the Rules,

HEREBY ORDER the detention on remand of the Accused, and INSTRUCT the Commander of the United Nations Detention Unit at The Hague to keep the Accused in detention until further order.
