TRIAL CHAMBER II of the International Criminal Tribunal for the Former Yugoslavia;
NOTING that the Prosecution had filed its Closing Brief as a confidential document, using the plain names of protected witnesses, after the close of business on Friday 29 October 1999;
NOTING that the Prosecutor had been ordered by the Trial Chamber on 2 November 1999 to file a new public closing brief using the pseudonyms of the witnesses, and that the Prosecutor has submitted this brief to the Legal Officer of the Trial Chamber in the afternoon of Thursday, 4 November 1999, together with a confidential covering letter;
NOTING FURTHER the concerns of the Prosecution stated in the covering letter that some of the protected witnesses may still be identified;
CONSIDERING these concerns to be legitimate in principle;
HEREBY DECIDES
1. The Legal Officer of the Trial Chamber shall file the brief together with the covering letter.
2. The brief will be treated as confidential until further order by the Trial Chamber.
