TRIAL CHAMBER I ("the Chamber") of the International Tribunal for the Prosecution of Persons Responsible for Serious Violations of International Humanitarian Law Committed in the Territory of the Former Yugoslavia since 1991 ("the Tribunal"),

NOTING the "Decision on the new revised list of Defence witnesses for the accused Zigic" issued by the Chamber on 16 March 2001 ("the Decision"), which ordered, inter alia, that the witnesses Dragomir Saponja, Yugoslav Gnjatovic, Dr, Dusanka Andjelkovic, Mile Ivankovic and Goran Laic in the defence of the accused Zigic ("the five witnesses") be heard by video-conference from Banja Luka on Wednesday 18 and Thursday 19 April 2001;

NOTING that live witnesses are scheduled to be heard in The Hague in the defence of the accused Zigic on Tuesday 17 April 2001;

NOTING that, according to information received from the Registry, the hearing of live witnesses on 17 April 2001 poses difficulties for those witnesses in that they will have to travel on Thursday 12 April and wait in The Hague for five days, while if they were to be heard on Thursday 19 April 2001 no such problem would arise;

CONSIDERING that this difficulty can be avoided without loss of court time if the date of the video-conference from Banja Luka is moved to 17 and 18 April 2001 and the live witnesses are heard on 19 April 2001;

NOTING the oral agreement of the parties to this new arrangement indicated at the hearing on 30 March 2001;

PURSUANT to Rule 54 of the Rules of Procedure and Evidence of the Tribunal;

HEREBY MODIFIES the Decision and orders that the five witnesses shall be heard by video-conference from Banja Luka on 17 and 18 April 2001.
