I, Mohamed Shahabuddeen, Vice-President of the International Tribunal for the Prosecution of Persons Responsible for Serious Violations of International Humanitarian Law Committed in the Territory of the former Yugoslavia since 1991 ("International Tribunal"), exercising the functions of the President pursuant to Rule 21 of the Rules of Procedure and Evidence of the International Tribunal ("Rules"),

NOTING the Judgement of Trial Chamber II in the trial of Zejnil Delalic, Zdravko Mucic, Hazim Delic and Esad Landzo, dated 16 November 1998 ("Celebici Judgement");

NOTING that the following appeals have been filed from the Celebici Judgement:

    1. Defendant Esad Landzo’s Notice of Appeal, 1 December 1998
    2. Defendant Zdravko Mucic’s Notice of Appeal, 27 November 1998
    3. Defendant Hazim Delic’s Notice of Appeal, 24 November 1998
    4. Prosecution’s Notice of Appeal, 26 November 1998
    5. Zejnil Delalic’s Notice of Cross-Appeal, 1 December 1998;

CONSIDERING that President Gabrielle Kirk McDonald and Judge Lal Chand Vohrah have withdrawn themselves from hearing these appeals pursuant to sub-Rule 15(A) of the Rules, due to previous involvement in pre-trial matters in this case;

NOTING that Article 12(b) of the Statute of the International Tribunal ("Statute") provides that five judges shall serve on the Appeals Chamber;

HAVING CONSULTED the Judges of the International Tribunal;

CONSIDERING Article 14(3) of the Statute and Rule 27 of the Rules;

PURSUANT to Rule 21 of the Rules;

HEREBY DECIDE to assign Judge David Hunt and Judge Mohamed Bennouna as members of the Appeals Chamber for the purposes of the appeals from the Celebici Judgement.

THEREFORE, subject to sub-Rule 22(B) of the Rules, the Appeals Chamber in case IT-96-21-A, the Prosecutor v. Zejnil Delalic, Zdravko Mucic a/k/a "Pavo", Hazim Delic, Esad Landzo a/k/a "Zenga", shall be composed as follows:
