THE TRIAL CHAMBER

CONSIDERING the Applications filed by the Defence on 15 May 1996 for Amendment of the Directive on Assignment of Defence Counsel, Forwarding the Documents in the Language of the Accused and Confirmation of the Status of Witnesses for the Defence,

CONSIDERING the Prosecution Responses thereto filed on 29 May 1996 in which the Prosecution supports all measures necessary to ensure that the accused receives a fair trial,

NOTING that the subject-matter of all three Applications falls within the scope of the functions of the Registrar of the International Tribunal pursuant to Article 17 of the Statute and Rule 33 of the Rules of Procedure and Evidence of the International Tribunal,

HEREBY DIRECTS the Registrar of the International Tribunal to respond to such Applications on its behalf and to notify the Trial Chamber of such response by 14 June 1996.
