ORDER ASSIGNING A CASE TO A TRIAL CHAMBER
The Office of the Prosecutor:
I, THEODOR MERON, President of the International Tribunal for the Prosecution of Persons Responsible for Serious Violations of International Humanitarian Law Committed in the Territory of the Former Yugoslavia Since 1991,
NOTING the Indictment in the Prosecutor v Vujadin Popovic, filed on 28 April 2002;
NOTING that the Registry has advised that the Accused has been detained and will be transferred to the seat of the Tribunal pursuant to Rule 62 on either 11 or 12 November 2004;
NOTING that Rule 62 requires the President of the Tribunal forthwith assign the case to a Trial Chamber;
HEREBY ASSIGN, effective on the date upon which the accused is transferred to the seat of the Tribunal, the present case to Trial Chamber III.
