THIS TRIAL CHAMBER of the International Tribunal for the Prosecution of Persons Responsible for Serious Violations of International Humanitarian Law Committed in the Territory of the Former Yugoslavia since 1991 ("the International Tribunal"),
BEING SEISED of a confidential "Defence request for medical examination of the accused Damir Dosen pursuant to Rule 74 bis" filed by Damir Dosen on 11 September 2001 ("the Motion"),
NOTING that Rule 74 bis of the Rules of Procedure and Evidence of the International Tribunal requires that, in cases where the Trial Chamber orders medical examination of the accused, unless the Trial Chamber orders otherwise, the task shall be entrusted by the Registrar of the International Tribunal to an expert whose name appears on a list drawn up by the Registry,
CONSIDERING that it is in the interests of justice that the Trial Chamber be in possession of all factors that would assist it to evaluate the relevant sentence to be imposed on the accused,
PURSUANT TO Rule 74 bis of the Rules
HEREBY GRANTS the Motion and ORDERS as follows:
