THIS TRIAL CHAMBER of the International Tribunal for the Prosecution of Persons Responsible for Serious Violations of International Humanitarian Law Committed in the Territory of the Former Yugoslavia since 1991 ("the International Tribunal"),

BEING SEISED of a "Prosecution Further Motion for Trial Related Protective Measures for Witness B-179", filed on 3 September 2003 ("Motion"), seeking the additional protective measure of use of voice distortion for the witness,1

CONSIDERING that the additional protective measure sought in respect of this witness is reasonable and appropriate for the protection of the witness and the witness’s family,

CONSIDERING that the Trial Chamber is satisfied that the measures sought are consistent with the rights of the Accused,

PURSUANT TO Rule 75 of the Rules of Procedure and Evidence of the International Tribunal,

HEREBY ORDERS as follows:

  1. Witness B-179 may testify with the use of voice distortion; and
  2. The Trial Chamber’s prior Order with respect to this witness remains in force.
