THIS TRIAL CHAMBER of the International Tribunal for the Prosecution of Persons Responsible for Serious Violations of International Humanitarian Law Committed in the Territory of the former Yugoslavia since 1991 ("Tribunal");

NOTING the "Preliminary Order on Admissibility of Expert Report of Kosta Cavoski", issued on 6 February 2006 ("Preliminary Order"), which ordered the Defence to file, by 13 February 2006, "a copy of Professor Cavoski’s curriculum vitae and a list of any scholarly articles or other publications he has written, as well as any other information that may assist the Chamber in determining his expertise";

BEING SEIZED of the "Assigned Counsel Request for an Extension of Time Pursuant to Rule 127(A)(i)of the Rules of Procedure and Evidence in order to File a Response to the Trial Chamber’s Preliminary Order on Admissibility of Expert Report of Kosta Cavoski", filed on 13 February 2006 ("Request for Extension of Time");

NOTING that in the Request for Extension of Time, Assigned Counsel explain that "[a] copy of Professor Cavoski’s curriculum vitae and a list of his scholarly articles and publications was received on 13 February 2006 in BCS from Professor Rakic" and that "Professor Cavoski’s list of publications exceeds fifty pages";1

CONSIDERING that Assigned Counsel request an extension of time until 20 February 2006 "[i]n order to provide the Trial Chamber with relevant further information on the expertise of Professor Cavoski", namely "an English translation of the curriculum vitae and titles of Professor Cavoski’s published works";2

CONSIDERING that Rule 127(A)(i) of the Rules of Procedure and Evidence of the Tribunal ("Rules") authorises a Trial Chamber to "enlarge or reduce any time prescribed by or under these Rules",3 provided that good cause is shown by motion;

CONSIDERING that the Request for Extension of Time has shown good cause for the requested extension to be granted;

PURSUANT TO Rule 127(A)(i) of the Rules;

HEREBY GRANTS the Request for Extension of Time and ORDERS the Defence to file both the originals and the corresponding English translations of the curriculum vitae and list of publications of Professor Cavoski by 20 February 2006.
