THIS TRIAL CHAMBER of the International Tribunal for the Prosecution of Persons Responsible for Serious Violations of International Humanitarian Law Committed in the Territory of the Former Yugoslavia since 1991 ("International Tribunal"),
BEING SEISED of a "Prosecution’s Application for an Order Pursuant to Rule 54 bis Directing the Federal Republic of Yugoslavia to Comply with Outstanding Requests for Assistance", filed by the Office of the Prosecutor ("Prosecution") on 13 December 2002 ("the Application"), requesting the scheduling of a hearing to discuss the issue of official cooperation or, alternatively, to order the Federal Republic of Yugoslavia to comply with the various Requests for Assistance referred to in the Application, and the "Written Response of Serbia and Montenegro" filed on 7 February 2003,
BEING SEISED also of a "Prosecution Request for Leave to File a Reply Regarding Outstanding Requests for Assistance" filed by the Prosecution on 14 February 2003 ("the Request"),
NOTING that a hearing on the Application has been scheduled for Monday 10 March 2003,
NOTING the reasons stated in support of the Request, including the fact that the Prosecution has recently received a large number of responses from Serbia and Montenegro regarding outstanding Requests for Assistance,
CONSIDERING that it would assist the Trial Chamber to have the most up-to-date information before it when considering the Application,
PURSUANT to Rule 126 bis of the Rules of Procedure and Evidence of the International Tribunal
HEREBY GRANTS THE REQUEST and ORDERS the Prosecution to file its Reply to the Written Response of Serbia and Montenegro no later than Friday 28 February 2003.
