THIS TRIAL CHAMBER of the International Tribunal for the Prosecution of Persons Responsible for Serious Violations of International Humanitarian Law Committed in the Territory of the Former Yugoslavia since 1991 ("International Tribunal"),

BEING SEISED of a "Motion for leave to file a second amended indictment" filed by the Office of the Prosecutor ("Prosecution") on 16 October 2001 ("the Motion"),

NOTING the Order of the Trial Chamber of 13 September 2001 regulating the filing of motions and requiring all parties and the amici curiae to respond to motions within fourteen days of the filing of such motions,

NOTING also the Order Granting Extension of Time issued on 21 September 2001, scheduling oral argument on certain other motions in this matter for Monday 29 October 2001,

CONSIDERING that it would be in the interests of judicial economy for the Trial Chamber to hear oral argument on the Motion on the same day,

PURSUANT TO Rules 54 and 126 of the Rules of Procedure and Evidence of the International Tribunal

HEREBY ORDER as follows:

  1. the amici curiae shall have until 12 noon on Thursday 25 October 2001 to file their responses, if any; and
  2. oral argument on the Motion shall be heard on Monday 29 October 2001.
