THIS TRIAL CHAMBER of the International Tribunal for the Prosecution of Persons Responsible for Serious Violations of International Humanitarian Law Committed in the Territory of the Former Yugoslavia since 1991 ("International Tribunal"),

Proprio motu

NOTING the Order of the President of the International Tribunal issued on 23 November 2001, assigning this matter to the Trial Chamber,

CONSIDERING that the accused has already appeared before the Trial Chamber in connection with other indictments, and that the accused is currently detained in the United Nations Detention Unit pursuant to an Order of the Trial Chamber issued on 3 July 2001,

CONSIDERING that a hearing in the other matters has already been scheduled for Tuesday 11 December 2001,

CONSIDERING therefore that it would be in the interests of judicial economy for the accused to make his initial appearance in this case on 11 December 2001,

PURSUANT TO Rules 50, 54 and 62 of the Rules of Procedure and Evidence of the International Tribunal,

HEREBY SCHEDULE the initial appearance of the accused in this matter for Tuesday 11 December 2001, commencing at 9.30 a.m.
