THIS TRIAL CHAMBER of the International Tribunal for the Prosecution of Persons Responsible for Serious Violations of International Humanitarian Law Committed in the Territory of the Former Yugoslavia since 1991 ("the International Tribunal");

PURSUANT TO Rule 64 of the Rules of Procedure and Evidence of the International Tribunal;

CONSIDERING that the Indictment of 6 June 1997 submitted by the Prosecutor against Mitar Rasevic was confirmed by Judge Vohrah on 17 June 1997;

CONSIDERING that the Warrant of Arrest and Order for Surrender of Mitar Rasevic was issued by Judge Vohrah on 17 June 1997;

CONSIDERING that Mitar Rasevic was transferred to the seat of the International Tribunal on 15 August 2003;

CONSIDERING that the Initial Appearance of Mitar Rasevic was held on 18 August 2003;

HEREBY ORDERS the detention on remand of Mitar Rasevic and enjoins the Commanding Officer of the United Nations Detention Unit in The Hague to detain the accused until further order.
