I, FAUSTO POCAR, Vice-President of the International Tribunal for the Prosecution of Persons Responsible for Serious Violations of International Humanitarian Law Committed in the Territory of the Former Yugoslavia since 1991 ("International Tribunal"),

NOTING the Indictment in The Prosecutor v. Milorad Krnojelac, Savo Todovic, and Mitar Rasevic, which was confirmed on 17 June 1997;

NOTING the recent transfer of the Accused, Savo Todovic, to the seat of the Tribunal pursuant to Rule 62;

NOTING that Rule 62 requires the President of the Tribunal forthwith to assign the case to a Trial Chamber;

CONSIDERING the temporary absence of President Theodor Meron;

CONSIDERING that, pursuant to Rule 21 of the Rules of Procedure and Evidence of the International Tribunal, the Vice-President of the International Tribunal shall exercise the functions of the President during the latter’s absence;

HEREBY ASSIGN, with immediate effect, the present case to Trial Chamber II.
