By decision of the Judges at the twenty-first plenary session of the International Tribunal, the following Rules of the Rules of Procedure and Evidence ("Rules") are amended:

The following Rules are adopted:

The above-mentioned Rules are amended or adopted pursuant to Rule 6 of the Rules and Practice Direction IT/143.

Pursuant to Sub-rule 6 (D) of the Rules, these amendments shall enter into force seven days after the date of issue of this official document, i.e., on 7 December 1999. Document IT/32/Rev. 17 will be issued in both languages as soon as possible.
