Nerma Jelačić, Spokesperson for Registry and Chambers, made the following statement:

Good morning,

As you are aware a scheduling order moving the pre-trial conference from February 27 to March 10 in the case of Stanišić and Simatović was issued earlier this week. The Prosecutor’s opening statement will be made on the same day. Both of the accused are back in the Tribunal’s Detention Unit.

Also on March 10, a pre-trial conference will be held in the Gotovina et al case. The trial will start the following day Tuesday, March 11.

After a three day hearing was held in Sarajevo last week, the Prosecution rested its case in the trial of Rasim Delić. Rule 98bis hearings are scheduled for Thursday and Friday, 14 and 15 February.

Rule 98bis hearings will start in the case of Popović et al., after the Prosecution finished presenting its evidence last week.

The trials of Šešelj, Boškoski and Tarčulovski and Milutinović et al. continue as scheduled.

Olga Kavran, Spokesperson for the Office of the Prosecutor, made no statement.

Questions:

Asked whether there were any updates on Serge Brammertz’s visit to Belgrade, Olga Kavran replied that dates have yet to be confirmed.
