Witness Opacic returned to Bosnia
Sentencing of Dusko Tadic rescheduled for 14 July

Today, 12 June 1997, Witness Dragan OPACIC was remanded back to the custody of the Republic of Bosnia and Herzegovina, in Sarajevo, as ordered on 27 May 1997 by Trial Chamber II (see Press Releases 207 and 209).

Today also, Trial Chamber II rescheduled the sentencing of Dusko TADIC for Monday 14 July 1997 at 10 a.m.

The commencement date for the pre-sentencing hearing has been set for Monday 30 June 1997 at a time which will be later specified.

This scheduling order is based upon the sentencing notice filed by the counsel of Dusko Tadic on 9 June and notes that "additional time for the transport of witnesses to the [pre-sentencing] hearing" must be afforded.
