Good afternoon,
Let me begin with highlights in the court schedule for next week. There will be an evidentiary hearing in the Appeals case for Momčilo Krajišnik on Monday, 3 November and Wednesday, 5 November at 8:30 in courtroom I.
In Monday’s hearing George Mano and Stefan Karganović are schedule to appear as Appeal’s Chamber witnesses to give evidence relating to the conduct of Krajišnik’s former defence counsel during the trial. On Wednesday, Radovan Karadžić is scheduled to appear as a witness according to Rule 115.
A status conference in the Tolimir case is scheduled to take place on Friday at 9.00 am in Courtroom 1.
The trials for Lukić and Lukić, and Gotovina and others, Prlić and others, Popović and others and Šešelj will continue this week and next. The trial for Momčilo Perišić will not sit tomorrow but will reconvene next week. The schedule is subject to last minute changes so please check our website for the latest updates.
Office of the Prosecutor:
Olga Kavran, Spokesperson for the Office of the Prosecutor, made no statement.
Questions:
Asked if the Prosecutor was visiting Belgrade on 17-18 November, Kavran said that the Prosecutor had the intention to travel to Belgrade in the course of November but exact dates could not yet be confirmed. Kavran added that it would be a regular working visit with authorities in charge of cooperation to discuss outstanding related issues. The visit would be ahead of the Prosecutor's bi-annual report to the UN Security Council and the exact date of the visit would be announced in due course.
