TRIAL CHAMBER II ("Trial Chamber") of the International Tribunal for the Prosecution of Persons Responsible for Serious Violations of International Humanitarian Law Committed in the Territory of the Former Yugoslavia since 1991 ("Tribunal"):

BEING SEISED OF the "Motion by Amicus Curiae Prosecutor to Amend Allegations of Contempt of the Tribunal" ("Motion"), filed on 12 January 2004;

NOTING Rule 50(A)(i)(c) of the Tribunal’s Rules of Procedure and Evidence ("Rules") pursuant to which the Prosecutor may amend an indictment after the assignment of the case to a Trial Chamber, with the leave of that Trial Chamber or a Judge of that Chamber, after having heard the parties.

NOTING that according to Rule 126 bis of the Rules, unless otherwise ordered by a Chamber either generally or in the particular case, a response, if any, to a motion filed by a party shall be filed within fourteen days of the filing of the motion;

NOTING that in accordance with Rule 77(E) of the Rules of Procedure and Evidence ("Rules"), Parts Four to Eight of the Rules shall apply mutatis mutandis to the contempt proceedings;

NOTING that the Trial Chamber had scheduled the trial of the present case to start on 16 February 2004

CONSIDERING the need in this case to proceed expeditiously;

PURSUANT TO Rules 50(A)(i)(c), 54, 77, 126 bis and 127 of the Rules

HEREBY ORDERS that: the deadline for Milka Maglov to file a response to the above Motion shall be reduced to 24 January 2004 at 16:00 hours.
