THE TRIAL CHAMBER, proprio motu,
AND WITH THE AGREEMENT OF THE PARTIES
HEREBY ORDERS AS FOLLOWS:
- the parties shall by Monday 15 June 1998 file written submissions as to any relevant
information that may assist the Trial Chamber in its consideration of the sentence, if
any, to be imposed, together with supporting material: such materials may include, inter
alia, medical or psychological reports, victim impact statements and, subject to leave
being granted to file in another language, shall be filed in one of the working languages
of the International Tribunal;
- in those written submissions the parties shall indicate whether they wish to make any
oral submissions to the Trial Chamber, advising the Trial Chamber of the nature of those
submissions and whether any witnesses are to be heard and, if so, the number and names of
such witnesses, and indicating the estimated time necessary for such submissions;
- the parties shall submit written statements in lieu of oral statements whenever
possible;
- subject to further order, oral submissions on sentencing other than that already
presented by the parties during the proceedings, and including the testimony of witnesses,
if any, shall be heard in the week Monday 22 to Friday 26 June 1998 and may be
incorporated into the closing statements of the parties; and
- written submission of closing arguments is not required.
