THIS TRIAL CHAMBER of the International Criminal Tribunal for the Former Yugoslavia ("the Tribunal");

BEING SEISED of an "Amicus Curiae Brief Respecting the Decision and Order of the Tribunal of 16 July 1998, Requesting that the Tribunal Reconsider its Decision Having Regard to the Rights of Witness "A" to Equality, Privacy, and Security of the Person, and to Representation by Counsel", filed on 6 November 1998 (Official Record at Registry Page ("RP") D2622-D2682) by eleven Applicants who are scholars of the international human rights of women, or representatives of non-governmental organisations;

CONSIDERING that the Amicus Curiae, although filed on 6 November 1998, was only received by the Trial Chamber on the day of the re-opening of the trial, on 9 November 1998; any arguments about the re-opening are no longer relevant;

PURSUANT TO Rule 74 of the Rules of Procedure and Evidence of the Tribunal

HEREBY GRANTS the Applicants leave to file their Brief as Amicus Curiae and FINDS THAT any relevant parts of their submissions will be duly considered by the Trial Chamber for purposes of judgement.
