I, THEODOR MERON, President of the International Tribunal for the Prosecution of Persons Responsible for Serious Violations of International Humanitarian Law Committed in the Territory of the Former Yugoslavia Since 1991,

NOTING that, by the order of the President of the Tribunal issued on 28 November 2001, this case has been assigned to a Trial Chamber composed of Judges Richard May, Patrick Robinson and O-Gon Kwon;

CONSIDERING the need to expedite the proceedings in this case;

NOTING the appointment of Judge Albertus Henricus Joannes Swart by the Secretary-General of the United Nations as an ad litem judge of the Tribunal;

HEREBY ASSIGN, with immediate effect, Judge Albertus Henricus Joannes Swart to replace Judge Richard May in the present case;

AND DETERMINE that the Trial Chamber in case No. IT-01-48-PT, The Prosecutor v. Sefer Halilovic, shall now be composed as follows:
