THIS TRIAL CHAMBER of the International Tribunal for the Prosecution of Persons Responsible for Serious Violations of International Humanitarian Law Committed in the Territory of the Former Yugoslavia since 1991 ("International Tribunal"),

BEING SEISED of a "Defence Motion For Extension of Pages" filed by the Defence of Sefer Halilovic (“Accused”) on 7 October 2003 ("Motion"), seeking leave to exceed the 10 page limit permitted for motions under the Practice Direction On The Length Of Briefs And Motions of the International Tribunal,

NOTING that the Defence was granted leave, during the status conference, to file a written submission upon the matter concerning the commencement of trial on or around 17 November 2003 against the Accused ("Written Submission"),1

CONSIDERING the exceptional circumstances surrounding the Written Submission, which the Defence has stated it will file no later than Wednesday, 8 October 2003,

PURSUANT TO Rules 54 and 73 of the Rules of Procedure and Evidence of the International Tribunal,

HEREBY GRANTS the MOTION.
