THIS TRIAL CHAMBER of the International Tribunal for the Prosecution of Persons Responsible for Serious Violations of International Humanitarian Law Committed in the Territory of the Former Yugoslavia since 1991 ("the International Tribunal"),

HAVING HEARD the parties at a pre-trial conference on 11 March 1999 and wishing to regulate the conduct of the trial in this matter,

PURSUANT TO Rules 54 and 73 bis of the Rules of Procedure and Evidence of the International Tribunal ("the Rules"),

HEREBY ORDERS as follows:

  1. the Office of the Prosecutor ("Prosecution") shall submit with its pre-trial brief to be filed on Thursday 25 March 1999, the final version of the materials included in draft format in Annexes 3 and 4 of its Notice of Compliance with Rules 66 and 68 filed on 5 March 1999;
  2. the Prosecution shall file summaries of the statements of one half of all witnesses that it wishes to call by Tuesday 6 April 1999, including those on the list for the first 6 weeks;
  3. the Prosecution shall file summaries of the statements of the remaining witnesses that it wishes to call by Tuesday 27 April 1999;
  4. the Prosecution shall provide the Trial Chamber and the Defence by 31 March 1999 with a list of witnesses to be called in the first six weeks of the trial;
  5. thereafter the Prosecution shall provide the Trial Chamber and the Defence with not less than two weeks notice of the witnesses to be called and shall draw the attention of the Trial Chamber to the relative importance of certain witnesses as listed;
