I, David Hunt, Pre-Appeal Judge,

NOTING the "Prosecution Request for an Extension of Time Limit and Page Limit for Response to Zigic Rule 115 Motion" filed by the prosecution on 29 August 2002 ("Motion"), by which it seeks an extension of time until 9 September in which to file its response to "Motion to Present Additional Evidence-Defence for the Accused Zoran Zigic" filed by Zoran Zigic ("Appellant") on 23 August ("Zigic Motion"), and leave to file a response of up to 30 pages;

CONSIDERING that the Zigic Motion seeks to present as additional evidence on the Appeal 14 items of evidence and that a response by the prosecution to the Zigic Motion requires it to investigate each of the 14 items of evidence, and to give detailed analysis of each of those items;

CONSIDERING that Rule 127(B) of the Rules of Procedure and Evidence ("Rules") allows the Appeals Chamber to grant a motion to extend a time limit upon a showing of good cause and that good cause has been shown by the prosecution;

CONSIDERING that no prejudice would be caused to the Appellant by granting the Motion and therefore that it is unnecessary in the circumstances to give the Appellant the opportunity to respond to the Motion;

HEREBY ORDERS:

1. The prosecution is granted an extension of time until 9 September 2002 in which to file its response to the Zigic Motion;

2. The prosecution is granted leave to file a response of up to 30 pages.
