I, PATRICK ROBINSON, Judge of the International Tribunal for the Prosecution of Persons Responsible for Serious Violations of International Humanitarian Law Committed in the Territory of the Former Yugoslavia since 1991 ("the International Tribunal"),

HAVING BEEN APPOINTED as pre-trial Judge in this matter by virtue of Orders of the Trial Chamber dated 10 December 2001 and 16 May 2002,

BEING SEISED of applications filed on 24 December 2003 and 9 January 2004 on behalf the accused Dusko Knezevic seeking an extension of time in which to respond to the "Prosecution’s Motion for Leave to Amend its Rule 65 ter Witness and Exhibit Lists" filed by the Office of the Prosecutor ("Prosecution") on 18 December 2003 and the "Prosecution’s Motion for Judicial Notice (Rule 94 (B))" filed by the Prosecution on 17 December 2003 (together "the Motions"), and a similar application filed on 13 January 2004 on behalf of the accused Zeljko Mejakic, seeking an extension of time to respond to the Prosecution’s Motion for Judicial Notice (together "the Applications"),

NOTING the arguments raised in support of the Applications, in particular, the late delivery of the documents and, for the accused Dusko Knezevic, the recent holiday period,

PURSUANT TO Rule 127 of the Rules of Procedure and Evidence of the International Tribunal,

HEREBY GRANT the Applications and ORDER the defence team for each of the four accused to file its written response to the Prosecution’s Motion for Leave to Amend its Rule 65 ter Witness and Exhibit Lists and the Prosecution’s Motion for Judicial Notice no later than Friday 30 January 2004.
