I, Judge Patrick Robinson, Presiding Judge of Trial Chamber III of the International Tribunal for the Prosecution of Persons Responsible for Serious Violations of International Humanitarian Law Committed in the Territory of the former Yugoslavia since 1991 ("International Tribunal"),

CONSIDERING Rule 65 ter (A) of the Rules of Procedure and Evidence of the International Tribunal ("Rules"), which provides that the Presiding Judge of the Trial Chamber shall, within seven days of the initial appearance of an accused person, designate from among its members a Judge responsible for the pre-trial proceedings (hereinafter "pre-trial Judge"),

NOTING that the accused Sredoje Lukic made an initial appearance on 20 September 2005, but that no pre-trial Judge was designated within the seven-day time period specified in Rule 65 ter (A),

CONSIDERING that it is in the interests of justice and the expeditious preparation for trial in the present case that a pre-trial Judge be designated,

PURSUANT TO Rules 65 ter (A) and 54 of the Rules,

HEREBY DESIGNATE Judge Iain Bonomy as the pre-trial Judge in this case.
