 2                           [Open session]

 3                           [The accused entered court]

 4                           --- Upon commencing at 9.36 a.m.

5             JUDGE ORIE:  Good morning to everyone.  Madam Registrar, would

6     you please call the case.

7             THE REGISTRAR:  Good morning, Your Honours.  This is case

8     IT-09-92-T, the Prosecutor versus Ratko Mladic.

9             JUDGE ORIE:  Thank you, Madam Registrar.  The Chamber was

10     informed that the Prosecution would like to raise one preliminary matter

11     before we go into closed session.

12             MR. McCLOSKEY:  Thank you, Mr. President.  Good morning everyone,

13     Your Honours.  Yes, regarding the tactical intercepts, we have sorted

14     that out.  We've had to divide it into two different numbers.  And the

15     one for the Prosecution, it was 65 ter 23255A, has been uploaded and

16     assigned P01496 which is currently MFI'd.  And that needs to go on itself

17     because I guess it's already been done, but we have for the pages that

18     Mr. Stojanovic wanted, which cover the period of 15 July, as P014 --

19     sorry, as 65 ter 23255B.  And I believe that's what the Defence would

20     like to admit.

21             JUDGE ORIE:  But no provisional number was assigned to that

22     series?

23             MR. McCLOSKEY:  That's correct.

24             JUDGE ORIE:  Then, Mr. Stojanovic, it seems that from your

25     nodding, you apparently are agreeing.  Madam Registrar.

Page 11848

1             MR. STOJANOVIC:  Yes, Your Honour.  I just wanted to thank the

2     Prosecution for their logistical support.

3             JUDGE ORIE:  Yes.  Then, Madam Registrar, 65 ter 23255A for which

4     P1496 was provisionally reserved now receives that number and is admitted

5     into evidence.  No need to have it under seal.  Then for 65 ter 23255B, a

6     number should be assigned but I take it that it would then be a Defence

7     number.  Madam Registrar, that would be?

8             THE REGISTRAR:  That will be number D296, Your Honours.

9             JUDGE ORIE:  D296 is admitted into evidence.  If there is no

10     other matter, we move into closed session.

17             JUDGE ORIE:  Thank you, Madam Registrar.  Order of witnesses,

18     Mr. McCloskey or Mr. Groome, who will be first next week?

19             MR. GROOME:  Mr. Nikolic.

20             JUDGE ORIE:  Yes.  We'll continue to hear his testimony.  Then we
