This Appeals Chamber of the International Tribunal for the Prosecution of Persons Responsible for Serious Violations of International Humanitarian Law Committed in the Territory of the Former Yugoslavia since 1991 ("Appeals Chamber" and "International Tribunal"),

NOTING Esad Landzo’s Request for Removal of John Ackerman as Counsel on Appeal for Zejnil Delalic, filed on 1 February 1999 ("Request I");

NOTING the Response of Zejnil Delalic to Esad Landzo’s Request For Removal of John Ackerman as Counsel on Appeal For Zejnil Delalic, filed on 10 February 1999 ("Response");

NOTING Esad Landzo’s Request for Oral Argument, filed on 26 February 1999 (“Request II”);

CONSIDERING that there is no reason why the matter raised in Request I cannot be addressed effectively in writing in accordance with the practice of the International Tribunal regarding interlocutory appeals;

CONSIDERING ALSO that Request II has not shown good cause for the Appeals Chamber to grant an oral hearing in respect of Request I;

HEREBY DENIES Request II and,

ORDERS that Esad Landzo file a written reply to the Response by 8 April 1999, after which the Appeals Chamber will issue its decision in relation to Request I.
