I, Carmel Agius, Presiding Judge of Trial Chamber II of the International Tribunal for the Prosecution of Persons Responsible for Serious Violations of International Humanitarian Law Committed in the Territory of the Former Yugoslavia since 1991 ("Tribunal");

NOTING the Indictment in the case Prosecutor v Nebojsa Pavkovic, Vladimir Lazarevic, Vlastimir Djordjevic and Sreten Lukic, confirmed by Judge O-Gon Kwon on 2 October 2003;

NOTING that Vladimir Lazarevic ("Accused") has been detained and was transferred to the seat of the Tribunal on 3 February 2005;

NOTING that the President of the Tribunal assigned the above referenced case to Trial Chamber II by an Order dated 2 February 2005;

NOTING my Order of 4 February 2005 to appoint myself as judge of Trial Chamber II for the purpose of the initial appearance of the Accused;

PURSUANT TO Rule 64 of the Rules of Procedure and Evidence;

HEREBY ORDER the detention on remand of the Accused and enjoin the Commanding Officer of the United Nations Detention Unit in The Hague to detain the Accused until further order.
