I, Carmel Agius, Presiding Judge of Trial Chamber II of the International Tribunal for the Prosecution of Persons Responsible for Serious Violations of International Humanitarian Law Committed in the Territory of the Former Yugoslavia since 1991 ("Tribunal");
NOTING the Indictment in the case Prosecutor v Nebojsa Pavkovic, Vladimir Lazarevic, Vlastimir Djordjevic and Sreten Lukic, which was confirmed by Judge O-Gon Kwon on 2 October 2003;
NOTING that Vladimir Lazarevic has been detained and was transferred to the seat of the Tribunal on 3 February 2005;
NOTING that the President of the Tribunal assigned the above referenced case to Trial Chamber II by an Order dated 2 February 2005;
CONSIDERING that it is in the interests of justice and of an expeditious trial to appoint a judge of the Trial Chamber for the purpose of the initial appearance;
PURSUANT TO Rule 62 of the Rules of Procedure and Evidence;
HEREBY DESIGNATE myself, Judge Carmel Agius, as Judge of Trial Chamber II for the initial appearance of Vladimir Lazarevic.
