I, THEODOR MERON, President of the International Tribunal for the Prosecution of Persons Responsible for Serious Violations of International Humanitarian Law Committed in the Territory of the Former Yugoslavia Since 1991 ("Tribunal"),

NOTING the "Order Assigning Judges to a Case Before the Appeals Chamber", filed on 15 August 2005;

CONSIDERING the composition of the Appeals Chamber of the Tribunal as set out in Document IT/237Rev.1, issued on 22 July 2005;

PURSUANT TO Articles 12(3) and 14(3) of the Statute of the International Tribunal and Rule 27 of the Rules;

HEREBY ASSIGN, with immediate effect, Judge Mohamed Shahabuddeen to replace Judge Mehmet Güney in the present case;

AND DETERMINE that, effective immediately, the Appeals Chamber in Prosecutor v. Vujadin Popović, Case No. IT-02-57-AR65.1, shall now be composed as follows.
