I, PATRICK ROBINSON, Judge of the International Tribunal for the Prosecution of Persons Responsible for Serious Violations of International Humanitarian Law Committed in the Territory of the Former Yugoslavia since 1991 ("the International Tribunal"),

HAVING BEEN APPOINTED as pre-trial Judge in this matter by virtue of an order of the Trial Chamber dated 26 January 1999,

CONSIDERING the initial appearance of the accused, Blagoje Simic, held before me on Thursday 15 March 2001,

CONSIDERING ALSO the Scheduling Order issued by the Trial Chamber on 14 February 2001, setting dates for submission of pre-trial briefs by the parties,

PURSUANT TO Rules 54 and 65 ter of the Rules of Procedure and Evidence of the International Tribunal ("Rules")

HEREBY VARY the Scheduling Order of 14 February 2001, as follows:

  1. The Office of the Prosecutor ("Prosecution") shall file its pre-trial brief and associated documents pursuant to Rule 65 ter (E) by Monday 9 April 2001;
  2. The Defence for Blagoje Simic, Milan Simic, Miroslav Tadic and Simo Zaric shall each file their pre-trial brief pursuant to Rule 65 ter (F) by Monday 7 May 2001; and
  3. The pre-trial conference shall be held on Wednesday 16 May 2001, commencing at 2.30 p.m.
