THIS TRIAL CHAMBER of the International Tribunal for the Prosecution of Persons Responsible for Serious Violations of International Humanitarian Law Committed in the Territory of the Former Yugoslavia since 1991 ("International Tribunal"),

NOTING the "Decision on Provisional Release of the Accused" issued by Trial Chamber I on 26 March 1998, granting provisional release to the accused, Milan Simic, based on exceptional circumstances,

NOTING the agreement reached between the Office of the Prosecutor ("Prosecution") and the accused, Milan Simic, as reported to Trial Chamber I on 26 March 1998, for the accused, Milan Simic, to return to The Hague and to surrender himself to the custody of the United Nations Detention Unit two weeks prior to the commencement of the trial,

CONSIDERING that the date of 22 June 1999 has now been set for the commencement of trial in this matter,

PURSUANT TO Rule 65 of the Rules of Procedure and Evidence of the International Tribunal,

HEREBY ORDERS the accused, Milan Simic, to attend the trial proceedings on a daily basis as from Tuesday 22 June 1999 and to surrender himself to the United Nations Detention Unit in The Hague, Netherlands, not less than two weeks prior to the commencement of the trial.

The Trial Chamber hereby requests the Registrar of the International Tribunal to make all necessary arrangements with the accused and with all relevant authorities for the return of the accused and for his continued detention in the United Nations Detention Unit.
