THIS TRIAL CHAMBER of the International Tribunal for the Prosecution of Persons Responsible for Serious Violations of International Humanitarian Law Committed in the Territory of the former Yugoslavia since 1991 ("Tribunal"),

NOTING the partly confidential "Submission of the Registrar Pursuant to Rule 33(B) on the Death of Slobodan Milosevic”, filed by the Registrar on 13 March 2006, in which he notifies the Trial Chamber of the death of the Accused on Saturday, 11 March 2006 and attaches the report of the coroner,

CONSIDERING that, in the case of the death of an accused, the proceedings have to be terminated,

PURSUANT TO RULE 54 of the Rules of Procedure and Evidence of the Tribunal ("Rules")

RECALLS that all the protective measures ordered in these proceedings shall continue to have effect unless and until they are rescinded, varied or augmented in accordance with the procedure set out in the Rules; and

HEREBY TERMINATES ALL PROCEEDINGS IN THIS TRIAL.
