THE APPEALS CHAMBER of the International Tribunal for the Prosecution of Persons Responsible for Serious Violations of International Humanitarian Law Committed in the Territory of the Former Yugoslavia since 1991 ("International Tribunal"),

BEING SEISED of the confidential "Request for an order for protection of sensitive information and non-public documents filed by Appellant on 8 January 1999" ("the Request") filed by the Office of the Prosecutor ("Prosecution") on 15 February 1999, requesting that Annex 2 to the Appellant’s Amended Brief of Argument filed on 8 January 1999 be made a confidential filing and that certain sensitive material in paragraph 3.7 thereof be expunged from the public document or that the document be designated as a confidential filing,

NOTING the Reply to the Request filed by the Appellant on 12 March 1999, confirming that the Appellant has no objection to the Request,

CONSIDERING that Articles 20 and 22 of the Statute of the International Tribunal provide for the protection of victims and witnesses, provided that such measures are consistent with full regard for the rights of the accused,

FOR THESE REASONS,

PURSUANT TO Rules 54 and 75 of the Rules of Procedure and Evidence of the International Tribunal

HEREBY GRANTS THE REQUEST AND ORDERS that Paragraph 3.7 of, and Annex 2 to, the Appellant’s Amended Brief of Argument shall be expunged from the public records of the International Tribunal.
