THE TRIAL CHAMBER,
NOTING the written request of 18 March 1997 by Mr. Alphonse Orie, co-counsel for the accused, Dusko Tadic, seeking permission to withdraw from the defence team ("the Request"),
NOTING that the accused has no objection to such withdrawal and on 23 March 1997 revoked the power of attorney granted to Mr. Orie,
CONSIDERING that the trial of the accused has been completed and is awaiting issue of the Judgement and thus the withdrawal of co-counsel will not in any way delay the proceedings, nor is it necessary for a new co-counsel to be assigned,
PURSUANT TO Article 21 of the Statute of the International Tribunal, Rule 45 of the Rules of Procedure and Evidence and Article 20(A) of the Directive on the Assignemnent of Defence Counsel,
HEREBY GRANTS the Request and DIRECTS the Registrar of the International Tribunal to withdraw the assignment of Mr. Alphonse Orie as co-counsel for the accused, Dusko Tadic.
