THE APPEALS CHAMBER
NOTING the Application For Extension Of Time To File Additional Evidence On Appeal filed by the Appellant on 1 May 1998 ("the Defence Application"),
NOTING the Scheduling Order of the Appeals Chamber of 2 February 1998,
NOTING the Request For A Modification Of The Appeals Chamber Order of 2 February 1998 filed by the Office of the Prosecutor ("Prosecution") on 7 May 1998 ("the OTP Request"),
CONSIDERING the reasons given in support of the Defence Application which relate to matters of the protection of witnesses, and
CONSIDERING ALSO the reasons given in support of the OTP Request which relate to a need for further time to be given to the Prosecution, consequent on further time being given to the Appellant,
PURSUANT to Rule 127 of the Rules of Procedure and Evidence of the International Tribunal,
HEREBY GRANTS BOTH THE DEFENCE APPLICATION AND THE OTP REQUEST AND VARIES ITS ORDER OF 2 FEBRUARY 1998 AS FOLLOWS:
the Appellant shall have until Tuesday 2 June 1998 to file the statement of the witness referred to in the Application as witness XX in one of the working languages of the International Tribunal;
the Prosecution shall have until Monday 8 June 1998 to file its final response to the Appellants submissions, including the statement of witness XX; and
the Appellant shall have until Monday 15 June 1998 to reply to the response of the Prosecution.
