 2                           [Open session]

 3                           [The accused entered court]

 4                           --- Upon commencing at 2.17 p.m.

5             JUDGE FLUEGGE:  Good afternoon to everybody in the courtroom.

6     Firstly, the Registrar would like to give an information for the record.

7             THE REGISTRAR:  The document referred to yesterday as

8     65 ter 3043E was put on the record as Prosecution Exhibit P00824.  This

9     document should read P00848 as the official Prosecution exhibit number.

10             JUDGE FLUEGGE:  Thank you very much for that.

11             Are there any procedural matters before the witness comes in?

12             MR. VANDERPUYE:  Thank you, Mr. President.  Good afternoon to you

13     and Your Honours.  Good afternoon, everyone.

14             There is one issue, Mr. President, and I wanted to inform the

15     Court that based upon the time estimates that we've received from the

16     Defence concerning the upcoming witnesses, the Prosecution has released

17     the witness Egbers who was scheduled otherwise to testify at the end of

18     this week.  We won't be sitting next week, and it seems very unlikely --

19     well, it's almost certain that he won't -- we won't get to him this week.

20     There are two other witnesses, Witness Stanisic and Witness Milosevic,

21     who are here and who are prepared to testify, and we obviously have to

22     finish with this witness before we get to him, but we're hoping that

23     we'll be able to do that because we won't be sitting next week as well.

24             JUDGE FLUEGGE:  Indeed, this is a good proposal to release one

25     witness, and we also do our very best to be in the position to finish

Page 6173

1     with the remaining witnesses this week.  The reason given by

2     Mr. Vanderpuye are indeed the best reasons for that.

3             If there is nothing further, we should go into closed session,

4     and the witness should be brought in.  We again will hear a witness in

 5     closed session.
